ここ数年のR&Bのトレンドを追い続けてきたDJ達からは既に大人気のJoyce Wrice。前作『Overgrown』とEP『Stay Around』に続く新作EP『Motive』がカラー盤＆国内盤帯付き仕様のLPで登場。2022年には来日ライヴも果たしたJoyce Wrice。 その来日ツアーとほぼ同タイミングでデジタル・リリースされた新作EPがこちら。「復讐」について日本語で語り日本刀を抜く姿も印象的だった、KAYTRANADA制作のMV曲"Iced Tea”ほか、計5曲を収録。
